Nokia World Event 2011
The highlight of the company’s calendar each year, Nokia World is a conference and exhibition devoted to all things Nokia. 3000 visitors from a mix of industry analysts, developers, operators, industry partners, and journalists. The brief was not only to communicate, inform and promote but also to wow the audience with an engaging brand experience. The experience of “new, now”. The event took place at the London ExCel where the huge space was filled with an array of arresting designs.
The event branding was a mixture of bold and playful typography and printed graphics, with huge scale photographic animations and videos, expressing the overarching theme of everyday adventurous moments: the ‘amazing everyday’, which was the campaign slogan unveiled for the launch of the new Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone.
Marc Wood was the overall creative director behind the project, leading a team of cross-media designers, 3D designers, AV and lighting specialists, etc.
